Refund Policies for Services and Products

 

Refund Policy for Soft Plotting Program™ 1 year live program

(For those who joined ON or AFTER September 23rd 2024)

We offer a 30-day guarantee for this product where the customer may request a refund on their full payment or their first installment. A refund will only be provided if the customer can present proof of program misrepresentation in the promotional material or landing pages, where the promised learning material does not match the learning in the course.

It has always been clearly communicated what this programme entails in our marketing, such as our webinars, social media, websites, and sales pages. It is the customer's responsibility to review our sales page and terms and conditions carefully prior to purchase, use or access to any of our products and online courses.

The monthly fee for this program is not a subscription but an installment for the full price of the program, and as such, the full amount of all 12 installments must be paid.

Early Termination

If a customer wishes to terminate their installment plan before the full balance is paid, they must provide written notice to The Plottery Ltd at least 1 full month in advance of their next installment's due date. They will also incur an Early Termination Fee.

This fee is equal to 1 monthly installment of the program at its current full price, without any discounts applied, regardless of what offer the customer joined with.

Calculating the early termination fee: If a customer joins with 12 installments of $97, with a discount which brings their monthly installments to 12 x $67, and they decide to cancel, their termination fee will be calculated at the full rate of $97. Their final month will then come to their regular monthly installment of $67 + the termination fee of $97, which will bring their total to $164 to exit the program early.

 

Immediate Payment: The early termination fee and any remaining balance must be paid in full immediately upon termination.

No Waiver of Rights: Terminating the installment plan early and paying the early termination fee does not waive the customer's responsibility for any other obligations or fees incurred prior to termination.

The program may only be cancelled or delayed without termination fees in the event of serious injury, serious illness, redundancy or pregnancy. Proof may be required for these extreme cases.

Early Termination

Payment Obligation: Upon early termination, the customer agrees to pay an early termination fee. This fee, along with any previously paid installments, will be equal to at least 50% of the full balance due under the installment plan. If a customer has already paid off more than 50% of the full price, no further fee will be incurred.

Calculation of Remaining Balance: The remaining balance is calculated as the total outstanding amount owed by the customer at the time of termination. For example, if the total sum of your monthly installments is $800, and you have paid $200 in installments, your termination fee will be $200 to cover 50% total ($400) of the full price ($800).

Refund Policy for Editing Services 

All editing services provided by The Plottery Ltd are bespoke and manually delivered. Because of the time, energy, and preparation that goes into every project, refunds are not generally offered once editing has begun. However, we do aim to approach all refund requests fairly and with professionalism.

If you choose to cancel your editing project before any work has begun, you may be eligible for a partial refund, depending on how much preparation has already been completed. Once editing has started, full refunds will not be issued unless there is clear evidence of negligence or failure to provide the agreed service.

If you are dissatisfied with the editing work, you may raise concerns in writing within eight (8) weeks of receiving your final manuscript. If the feedback or service is found to fall short of reasonable professional standards, a partial refund may be considered. Refunds will not be granted based on disagreement with subjective opinions, tone, or story direction unless the issue reflects a lack of professionalism or quality.

If a client repeatedly delays providing their manuscript for more than six months after their originally agreed delivery window, and then later chooses not to proceed with the service, no refund will be provided. However, clients in this situation will still have the option to submit a manuscript for editing within 18 months of their original booked month. The editing will still be honored, but the timeline for completion will be based on the Editor’s current schedule at that time. The original delivery timeframe will no longer apply, and flexibility will be required depending on availability.

Refunds are not issued for missed deadlines caused by the client, including late delivery of the manuscript or lack of communication. We reserve the right to decline refunds requested more than 56 days after the final edit is delivered.

We take great care in the work we provide and expect mutual respect and responsibility from clients in return. If you’re ever unsure about the terms or need to discuss your timeline, just reach out — we’re here to make sure the process works for both of us.

 

Refund Policy for the Power Plotter™ coaching program 

If you were part of The Plottery’s former Power Plotter 1:1 coaching program, please note the following:

If it has been more than six (6) months since your last scheduled session, your access to previously unused sessions is considered expired.

No refunds will be issued for unused sessions beyond this 6-month window, regardless of how many sessions were originally included in your plan.

You are welcome to reach out to discuss finishing remaining sessions if the timeframe has not lapsed; however, The Plottery Ltd reserves the right to decline future calls or request a new booking if the working relationship has gone dormant.

Disappearing from a coaching container does not entitle you to re-enter it after an extended period of inactivity.

Right to refuse service

We reserve the right to decline or terminate a coaching relationship at our discretion. This may occur in cases of repeated cancellations, unprofessional conduct, or misalignment with the values and boundaries of the service.


Refund Policy for 1:1 Coaching & Editorial Meetings

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Sessions are not confirmed until payment has been received. For sessions involving written feedback, you must submit your materials at least 72 hours before the scheduled call. If materials are not received in time, your session may be rescheduled or converted into a strategy call.

You may receive a full refund if no materials have been sent to the coach and you request this refund a minimum of 7 days before the scheduled call.

A partial refund may be received if no materials are sent to the coach but the refund is requested less than 7 days before the call.

Rescheduling and cancellations
You may reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. No-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refund. One courtesy reschedule may be granted at our discretion or in extreme circumstances.

 

Refund Policy for Pro at Prose™ online writing course

We offer a 14-day guarantee for this product, but due to the digital nature of the product with immediate access to learning and downloadables, we may only be able to provide a partial refund. A full refund will only be provided if the customer can present proof of course misrepresentation in the promotional material or landing pages, where the promised learning material does not match the learning in the course.

It is the customer's responsibility to review our sales page and terms and conditions carefully prior to purchase, use or access to any of our products and online courses.

We offer a 14-day guarantee for this product, but due to the digital nature of the product with immediate access to learning and downloadables, we may only be able to provide a partial refund. A full refund will only be provided if the customer can present proof of course misrepresentation in the promotional material or landing pages, where the promised learning material does not match the learning in the course.

Due to the digital nature and immediate access of this product, no refunds are offered at this time. We also do not offer partial refunds under any circumstances.

Refund Policy for live workshops

The Plottery Ltd is unable to offer any refunds for live workshops under any circumstance.

If the customer misses the live event, they will still receive access to workshop materials, and this does not qualify them for a refund.
